Answer: Nope! These are made in Canada. -
Question: How long do they stay hot ?
Answer: I don't know. I only used them cold. -
Question: I feel like these would be great for swollen breasts while breastfeeding, has anyone used it for that? How long do they stay cold? Hot?
Answer: Yes they are! I originally bought these for my 4 year old and kept in the freezer when she would get a bump or bruise but now I have a 6 month old and they are fabulous when I am pumping to make sure I express all the milk. I have two that I keep at room temp and microwave. I put the cloth backing side on first and then when I can’t feel the warmth I swap it to the other side. They are still warm after 20 minutes of pumping. They probably stay cold at least 20-30 minutes. -

Answer: The material inside in mostly water. It contains a dye for color. -
Question: Are these made with pvc? if not, then with what material?
Answer: Thank you for your question. These gel packs are BPA and PVC free. The gel ice packs are made of 97% spring water and the pouch is made from thick plastic with non-woven cloth backing -
Question: Can these be washed?
Answer: Yes, you can wash them with warm soapy water and leave them to air dry. They are not designed to wash over and over and over again, so be aware that over time the fabric will start to deteriorate. -
Question: with a 4 inch diameter I doubt these can be used inside the utility pocket on outdoor gloves (hot pack)?
Answer: I'm sorry, but I don't think so. I use them strictly an ice pack for my eyes. I would just get packs of handwarmers for keeping your hands toasty. -

Question: Has anyone used this to keep food/bev warm, and if so, how well does it work and how long?
Answer: I haven't used these for food or beverage, but they don't really hold hot or cold temperature for very long. They're good for minor medical issues, not storing food.
