Question: Is a 2 years old toddler too young to use this?
Answer: I'm a dental hygienist and I have used the sonicare for kids on my boys since they were 2 and a half and 7. The sonicare will do a better job at brushing their teeth with the sonic action, getting to areas where the bristles might not actually get to. However, even with that said, I would not let my 2 year old use the brush on their own, I always brushed his teeth FOR him. They can do a lot of damage to the soft tissues with a brush like this, on their own. If you want them to do it on their own, let them have a manual toothbrush, and then go over it with the sonicare, which you should already be doing anyways with their brushing since a 2 year old isn't capable of brushing effectively. -
Question: do you have to use the app for the toothbrush to make sense or can it be used independently? (i dont have iphone/pad)

Question: What is the difference in this and adults? Just the head size? 500 strokes per second is almost the 31000 per minute of the adult.
Answer: Important to realize this kids sonic is exactly the same brush head and handle size as the adult. It does a have grippy bump plate . However Its identical in size tom adult sonic. I was expecting it to be scaled down for the little ones. -

Answer: It has a normal adult size brush. But you can order smaller sized. They are all interchangeable. -
Question: Which is low speed and which is high speed, the left side, one dot the right side two dot ?? I cannot sense the speed difference just by listening .
Answer: My son says that when the light is on the left side the brush times 15 seconds four times (for each of the quadrants in your mouth). The right side times 30 seconds four times. He says it doesn't have to do with the speed, just the amount of time to brush. -
Question: Is there a log in for the app? If you have two kids, two toothbrushes but one iPad - what are you supposed to do?
Answer: You just create two kids profiles on the app. I have 2 kids and two toothbrushes on one app. They take turns in the bathroom brushing. I read that the brush saves up to 32 sessions, you might be able to have them brush at the same time, just don't know how to make sure the app registers the sessions. Worth looking into if you want them brushing at the same time. -
