Question: will vaseline break this material down? also, I notice they have a seem, will they eventually split like rattlesnake bite kits?
Answer: Good morning: The Rattlesnake Bite Kits are made of TPE RUBBER and the Oxballs Gripper is made of TPR which is a combo of plastic and rubber. My understanding though is they are latex free. Petroleum jelly breaks down latex. Because of the material Vaseline may be fine to use. The manufacturer literally stated you could use “spit” to attach and possibly chapstick. Chapstick contains petroleum but is smaller quantities. They are. Lube safe: water-base, always wash any stretchy toy in warm soapy water after use and store all stretchy toys so they do not touch each other. You can try a water based line, or water/silicone hybrid to be safe. I am not sure if they will split at the seam eventually, but the plastic component should make them more sturdy. Question: How do you attach them?
Answer: Don’t buy them they are total garbage. Spend your money on a snake bite kit. Far, far less expensive and super better than the lame Oxball grippers. Beware they are garbage.
