Question: How come in one answer they say this is not gmo and in the next, that is? what is the story? i imagine if the label doesn't say so, it's not gmo-free.
Answer: American soy products (like lecithin) are GMO. Most foreign countries don't allow it. -
Question: Bulk supplements stated in their answers below that they have new supplier using sunflower lecithin but yet they sent me out soy lecithin.
Answer: The source and many other variables of a product can differ depending on the supplier/manufacturer that the batch is from. -
Question: What is the source? Soy is bad for you
Answer: If you look at the back of the package at the ingredients it says soy. Soy isn't bad for all people but if you have a sensitivity to it try sunflower lecithin. Also, I bought this for my dog and cat because I make powder supplement for them that I put in their food. Question: Is this an extract? Why is the dosage so low?
Answer: It's an off yellow powder. I know very little about dosage of lecithin; I've been using this in baking as opposed to as a straight up supplement. I've bought lecithin from other suppliers and this product is comparable but a lower price so think you'd do as well with this as you would with anything else. -
Question: Is there a way to find out how much phosphatidic acid is in this per serving?

Question: How does this taste?
Answer: Lecithin has almost no taste. Just a light nutty flavor. I recommend this product. You shouldn't use lecithin if you have any kind of thyroid problem as it's derived from soybeans which suppress thyroid function. Just a caution.
