    • Question: Where are they made from? Are they stiff enough to make face masks for the nose piece?

      Answer: I only use them to clean my pipe. I'd guess they were stiff enough for the top rib of a mask that you can pinch over your nose. I have no idea were they've made but some real little print (with the help of good light & a magnified glass) had a few foreign words that appeared very German to me (lived there many years ago curteosy of the Army).
    • Question: Which one is it 6x48=288 as mentioned in the Product Description or is it the 3x44 = 264 as they say in the title?

      Answer: I did look at the labeling of an unopened pkg. with an unwrapped bundle of cleaners. One pack was labeled 6 bundles...264 Count. BTW, I just use them to clean my smoking pipe...normal pipe-cleaning cleaners but less expensive than buying them in a neighborhood store.
    • Question: Is this good for making face madks?

      Answer: While perhaps a novel use, I buy and use pipe cleaners to clean my pipe and have no experience making face masks. But I can attest these do a good job pipe cleaning and at a good price. Good luck with your query.

      Answer: Unicorn hair and baby seal fur.

    A little soft
    I like these. They are ever so slightly too soft for me. I tend to be a little bit obsessive about cleaning. So I feel it's better to use something soft. I think you would like them

    Very consistent quality. Only pipe cleaners I’ll buy!
    I GET it, it’s only a pipe cleaner. But I’ve used some that have small metal threads wound into the material and they tend to puncture my skin easily. These pipe cleaners do not have the woven metal threads. Very comfortable to handle and they do just what you buy them to do. Probably the best product at this price point.

    Can't find them locally in our little town of Elba, AL My husband smokes a pipe and uses these often. Now if only he could find pipe tobacco locally!

    They work very well.
