Question: What is the difference between this product and the original?
Answer: The "new" formula has a larger scoop, which is why it has "20% more protein". It's really a marketing scam. I've been using this product for years. The new vanilla has a chemical taste. So, besides trying to mislead you with "more" of anything, they messed-up the taste. -
Question: Should this only be used as a recovery drink?
Answer: If you're question is whether or not this is a "pre workout" drink - it's not. It should be taken whenever you would need PROTEIN not necessarily exclusive to "recovery". Early morning with breakfast, after workouts, or in the evening as your last meal. -
Question: How much tumeric is in each serving?

Question: What exactly is the “natural flavor” listed as ingredient #2?? If it’s so natural I don’t understand why companies don’t list exactly what it is.
Answer: They're required by law to list all ingredients on all food products. It would seem some companies get around this by listing an ingredient as a "natural flavor". Flavor is not an ingredient it's a sensory quality of something, something that they're not listing. Correct me if I'm wrong but that sounds like skirting the law.
