    • Question: How is this different from Adrenotone? And why offer two products that appear to have the same or similar effects?

      Answer: Not sure about specific differences, but Adrenotone gave me crippling stomach cramps. Could just be an allergy to an ingredient, but Adrenal Complex is so effective and safe for me that I cannot live without it.
    • Question: Does it contain corn?

      Answer: I would not wish to answer that in case of medical issues, but if you go on the Designs for Health website, and call customer service you get a professional's answer. I am celiac so that I cannot have gluten and that has been my only focus. However, corn affects most of us it seems later so that I am doubtful that it would have more highly sensitive items like corn in it. But, too be sure and on the safe side from a medical perspective, calling would be the best answer. Hope that helps.
    • Question: This says vegetarian in the description above, but it contains glandular which is from slaughtered cows, pigs & sheep. So why claim it’s vegetarian?

      Answer: Designs for Health - you answered that question by stating the bottle says "Vegetarian Capsules" but in the description of ingredients on the bottle is says "bovine (capsules)". So, apparently, the capsules are not vegetarian, either.

    Design for Health is worth buying
    Things that have improved since I've been taking this product: 1) hunger cues/low blood sugar, not ravenously hungry 2) concentration and memory 3) energy upon waking up in the morning 4) energy for exercise and daily activities 5) anxiety; markedly reduced, I don't startle easily from sleep, I fall asleep easily, I don't ruminate and even when I do become stressed out it's easier to calm down. 6) water retention reduced 7) reduction in menstrual discomfort/heavy bleeding I mean, this has really changed my body and my life in just a few short weeks. I wasn't looking for these results specifically, I felt off and talked to Dr Google, and this supplement ended up helping. Anything from Design for Health is worthwhile, I take other supplements from this brand. They all work very well, even if it feels expensive it's worth it.

    The Sleeper Adrenal Gland
    Given the importance of the adrenal glands, I use this to ensure that these workhorse, vital glands do their job, day-in, day-out!

    Can't live (as well) without it!
    I have been taking this Adrenal Complex supplement for a few years, 2 pills every morning a half hour before eating anything. I have tried to go without it on a couple different occasions, but after about 5 days off of it, I noticed a huge drop in my energy level and brain functioning. I had been on a different brand's adrenal complex before this for multiple years, and it worked great, but this brand came recommended by the holistic doctor I'm working with, so I gave it a try, and I have to say I like it even better. Every once in awhile on the other one I'd feel a bit jittery/anxious in the afternoon, and I've had no side effects with this one. I have dealt with issues related to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for more than 25 years, and this has been the most important supplement I've ever taken to help me to function at a somewhat normal level. It's a bit pricey, but it's good stuff and totally worth it for me! I also take another Designs for Health Supplement, and their customer service was fantastic all around when I had an issue with that product.

    The only adrenal supplement that agrees w me so far. I trust this brand and am grateful they created something that addresses adrenal fatigue.

    Works!
    Got me through menopause and chemotherapy. I recommend taking a saliva test first to determine what time of day to take. You can order them online and they mail your results back.
