Question: What waist size fitting men?
Answer: My waist is 52 and it requires most of the stretch to get both Velcro ends to lay over each other, but it does. It does a great job for delivering heat to my piriformis while allowing me complete mobility. -
Question: Is the Gel removable? Or the whole unit has to be put in the freeze?
Answer: The gel is not removable but it probably most of the unit. It folds up and does not take up much space in the freezer. -
Question: what are the dimensions of the actual compress without including the straps?
Answer: 14.5 long x 5.5 wid -
Question: Could you use this for migraine relief? Could the strap be made to fit around a head?
Answer: I don't know how this would work. It seems too big and when I have a migraine I don't want any extra weight on my head. The cooling works fabulous. It cools my body temperature down. I use WellPatch Migraine & Headache Cooling Patch. I put one on my forehead and on occasion one at the back of my neck. They have sticky backs so they stay on. Size is 4.3" X 2. -
Question: What material is the wrap? Does it contain late ?
Answer: Nylon and soft mesh with a small Velcro strip at the opening to help secure the thera pak. Do you mean late(x)? If so, no latex. -
Question: Is there an extra gel pack available for purchase?
Answer: Yes, there are extra gel packs that you can buy. I bought an extra one and I recommend that others buy a spare gel pak ice bag. This is the best gel pack ice bag I have ever used. It is very durable. -
Question: has anyone else had this problem? I've had this heat pack January. It now has "splits" all over it and the gel is leaking,
Answer: I think you may be heating too long or too high temp -
Question: Can you use it for moist heati
Answer: I don't know. It is plastic and you can heat it up in a microwave or hot water. I would think that if you wrap moist towels around it, then you should get the results you are looking for. Sorry I didn't know more, but I use it for cold therapy. -
Question: Does this gel pack stay flexuble when cold?
Answer: Yes! I've shaped it around hips and knees, so, yes, it does stay flexible.
