Question: Unsure if my question was answered clearly, i have a 1955 organ. it was painted black originally. now dull and scratched. will this make the finish look much better?.
Answer: I can't say for sure what this will do for your organ, but I used this product on stained (not painted) antique wood furnishings that had not been cleaned in years, and it made a huge difference. It took off the grime, and brought out the natural luster of the wood. It also made scratches less noticeable, and water stains all but disappear. Of course it doesn't erase scratches, and the deeper ones are still apparent. I was very impressed with the product. -
Question: Can i use this on painted cabinets?
Answer: I have oak cabinets which have been treated to maintain natural oak color. If your cabinets are painted a different color to the wood eg white you could use this but I do not see the point. Just wipe them down with soapy water or a spray cleaner. I do not think the moisturizer will get through the , I assume oil paint and it may make it oily to the touch. -

Question: Can i apply this to an old door frame that has never been stained or sealed? Id like to stain it, but it needs a good cleaning.

Applying this particular product on untreated wood may cause spotting, we recommend applying it to a small discreet area before applying it to the entire surface to ensure it does not create any unwanted spotting.
