    Tryed all the stand alone bases--this one is the best
    For a self standing base for a standard cane I have tried most None are as perfect as a true quad cane for stand alone But this one beats all the others to add to a standard cane The entire base is covered with small grippers On tile or wood floors just let go of it--It stays Carpet just be a little careful but it stays there Outdoors not too well but none I have tried do either My cane was a little loose in this but a couple wraps of electrical tape took care of that

    This works really well like that it lets the cane stand on its own. Had hard time without it as the cane was always falling on the floor!

    Good for the money
    I like the quad tips better, but this works ok. It's a little heavy and does not seem to stay put. It turns on the cane a little. Maybe some tape or glue will resolve that. It is a lot better than the signal tip.
