Question: What is the difference between this and the regular one? What makes it fast acting?
Answer: From what I understand, the Migrelief now is to be taken when you get your migraine just like any other headache reliever. The regular Migrelief is a daily preventative. I have been taking Migrelief for a little over a year now and it has reduced the amount of migraines I get by a good 90 percent. This product is a godsend. -
Question: Has anyone taken this product and experienced the immediate pain relief?
Answer: I have not experienced IMMEDIATE relief but it does give relief pretty fast, usually about 15 minutes unless it just coming on. If I get it before the pain is bad, it just stops it. I've found it to be one of those "see how it goes" products. If the pain is bad or I get a sense it's going to be bad, I'll take 4, wait 30 minutes and if I need take 3, etc. I've had days at work where I'm taking it throughout the day so I can finish work and get to sleep. I don't tolerate the triptans, not any of the preventive medications well, so I don't have many options. That said I think this product is amazing!! -
Question: Can you take this without taking the Migrelief Daily pills?
Answer: Yes, MigreLief-NOW can be taken for a migraine or headache whenever fast-acting help is needed. MigreLief-NOW can also be used in combination with any MigreLief daily formula for extra help on challenging days. See label for specific recommendations. -
Question: how many capsules in a bottle of Migrelief NOW?
Answer: 60 capsules. I initially take 4 capsules, followed by 2 capsules after 2 hours, if needed. -
Question: What are the ingredients in this, and amounts? The picture won't enlarge enough to read.
Answer: It has magnesium, puracol feverfew, a proprietary combination of whole leaf feverfew containing a broad spectrum of naturally occurring phytochemicals and a unique feverfew leaf extract, cerevasc ginger, a proprietary combination of ginger rhizome powder and standardized ginger extract and aflapin boswellia serrata. My son used this to support his headaches and it did help some. Be patient though. Read reviews for feverfew for more info. A lot of allergists and ENTs sometimes use it but it can have a withdrawal effect similar to caffeine when stopping if taken for a long time.
