Question: Is this lemon oil as shown in the picture or mineral oil with lemon scent?
Answer: What I received was Wood Conditioner and Cleaner with lemon scent. This is NOT lemon oil. I returned and asked that the correct item be sent. I received a second order of the same item, which is not what I ordered, so I requested a refund. -
Question: Can this be used on unfinished wood?
Answer: Should not do that. Lemon oil puts oil back into the wood stains and lacquer finishes. The finished on the cabinets dry out over time, wood finish gets dry and can etc. lemon oil restores the finish helps the wood breath. Putting lemon oil directly on raw unfinished surface will oil stain the wood. Stains and finish coats protect the wood and lemon oil protects the finish and can rejuvenate the finish. A regular routine of applying lemon oil will keep the finishes looking good for a long time. Lemon oil works great for coating colored grouts of tile in showers. Clean the grout first real good. Once you have the grout looking like you want the rub lemon oil into the grout, when complete wipe off the excess on tile with a Terry towel . The oil keeps the soaps from sticky to the surface. Repeat as necessary -
