      Answer: Yes, it is recommended to cap the unused DSS fitting as a backup to the DSS to the internal seal and keeps the port clean.

    Great O2 Regulator w/2 DISS Ports
    Very solid construction that can take years of use. Granted heavier than some aluminum bodied regulators, this one is replacing my old LSP (very costly) regulator on my pressure/demand mask and O2 powered suction system in my trauma kit. For the cost, this is a fine regulator for any EMT/Paramedic/First Responder's equipment setup. Lots of flexibilty with the DISS ports.
