Question: How many servings per package?
Answer: On the package it explains serving size: 1 serving = 500 mg, 50 servings per container. Then it explains: 1/4 tsp = 450mg, 1/2 tsp = 900mg, 1 tsp = 1800 mg. So basically a serving is close to a quarter teaspoon and there is about 50 servings per envelope. -
Question: Per Bulk supplements it mentions not to use it for more then 3 months. Why is that?
Answer: Berberine is most commonly taken to lower blood sugar, lower cholesterol, and reduce high blood pressure. Theoretically when used over a long period of time, berberine might increase the risk of blood pressure becoming too low. If berberine is being used to lower blood sugar or insulin resistance, then using an alternative like Ceylon Cinnamon may be best for long term use. Although berberine is a great introductory step long term use can cause other complications. -
