Question: Do the screw pins thread from the refill, up through the mop base? Anyone know the width between the screw pins on the refill?
Answer: I have looked for seemingly hours to get the fact that the screws are 6 1/2" apart. Now I can purchase. Thank you for the person that finally gave this answer. Quickie might consider adding this major detail to the product spec information. -
Question: what is the blue rectangular strip for???
Answer: The blue rectangular strip is an abrasive piece to scrub and loosen stubborn stuck-on spots and bits of debris on the floor. I don't use it on our wood floors, only on our tile and linoleum floors. -
Question: Does this replacement mop have one screw which is the pole?
Answer: It has two screw holes either side of the handle.....this is a great mop! -
Question: is this the type that the handle screws straight into the spounge
Answer: It screws into the back of the sponge, not into it. -
Question: How often should you change sponge?
Answer: I change it when it looks worn and dirty. I always rinse and wring sponge after using and let it dry before storing mop. -
Question: One pic shows a plastic spine that has 2 molded posts, plus 2 nuts. Another pic shows a metal spine apparently without posts. Which is this?
Answer: It is the former. Two threaded studs protrude from the spine of the sponge and are attached to the mop with nuts. -
Question: I need a type M refill, where do I find it?
Answer: I would try entering: quickie type m into the search bar and hope it comes up. If it doesn’t you may need to shop elsewhere for it (Home Depot, WalMart, etc). Good luck!
