Question: what is the difference between oral b 3000 and 5000?
Answer: The Oral-B Pro 3000 is the slimmer and lighter brush handle. The Pro 5000 has a dedicated cleaning mode button. The Pro 5000 gives greater battery feedback. The Pro 3000 comes in 2 color options (White and Blue) compared to the 1 color option of the Pro 5000. The Pro 5000 has 5 cleaning modes (Daily Clean, Gum Care, Sensitive, Whitening and Deep Clean) compared to the 3 cleaning modes of the 3000 (Daily Clean, Gum Care and Sensitive). The Pro 5000 has a 10 day battery life compared to the 7 days of the Pro 3000. The Pro 5000 comes with a travel case. The Pro 3000 comes with 1 x 3D White brush head whilst the Pro 5000 comes with 1 x FlossAction. The Pro 3000 is the cheaper of the 2. -
Question: Is it possible to tell what mode you are using without connecting the toothbrush to the app?
Answer: I don't use the app at all, I still absolutely love this toothbrush. But I have since learned that the first mode is the highest setting. The second one is like a medium and the third is the most sensitive. -

Question: So the gum care option is much more soft than the sensitive mode, as I understand?
Answer: I'm still getting used to the different modes, but it works really good. My heigenist saw a difference. It doesn't stop when cycle is complete, which I like because I go over certain areas. Hope this was helpful. -
Question: So if you have to use sensitive mode you won't experience whiter teeth?
Answer: I am not sure but if you have sensitive teeth and you want to have whitening effect also , may be try to use sensitive whitening toothpastes with sensitive mode. Hope this help -

Answer: The type I bought has a charger that works only in 110Vac and can’t use in 220Vac -

Answer: The volume of our rechargeable toothbrushes is approximately 65 - 67 decibels (dB). The cleaning mode and brush head you choose influences how loud your brush is, as each head oscillates/rotates at a different speed, and each cleaning mode varies in the amount of pulsations it makes per minute. -
