Question: what is considered light wood and dark wood to determine which polish to get?
Answer: I have both light and dark scratch cover. I use light for mostly oak, lighter to medium blonde woods. The dark is pretty dark and I use it on walnut, mahogany woods. -
Question: Is this Old English scratch cover thick like molasses or thin like water?
Answer: Thin like water. Apply to cloth and wipe onto wood. -
Question: Would this work to help cover water marks on windowsills?
Answer: You can try it, but it did not work well on the water rings I had on my wooden windowsills. It did work very well to cover water spots on wooden kitchen cabinets. -
Question: Would this repair the scratches in the clear(glassy) varnish?
Answer: No It works on wood only it won’t fill in varnish
