Question: Hey.My mom cannot swallow pills.She grinds them. So can she open the capsule and dissolve the powder in small amount of water or it becomes useless?
Answer: First let me make this statement; I am not a doctor or health care provider. I am someone who has been researching for 12 years natural healing because of a long illness. That said, I believe that Cinnamon is natural and helpful to one's quest to better their health. I have a friend that opens the capsules and drinks in liquid or sprinkles on her food (like oatmeal) and she does just fine. This brand of Ceylon Cinnamon is a good source of cinnamon in my opinion because it has a strong cinnamon smell which equals quality to me. Also, the company that manufacturers this product is top notch. I would not recommend swallowing straight cinnamon powder because it is dry and one could choke. But, as I said, my friend opens her capsules and either takes it in liquid or sprinkles on her food. One more note: I too have trouble swallowing pills; however, I do not have trouble swallowing the capsules because they are not huge & the capsule casing helps them slide down my throat with plenty of water. Hope this helps. -
