Answer: Maybe, but they are meant for microwaving vegetables. They work great for that as they do not melt like regular baggies do. It may be worth a try, but then do you really need them in a steamer? -

Answer: Can't purchase them in stores anymore. At least, I can't find them. Like everything else, they're more expensive. But so useful! -

Answer: I have used these for several years and not had any issues with getting burned. I don’t think it is hard to open the bags. Maybe if you let the bag rest for a few minutes before you try to open the bag. The vegetables will still be hot if you let the bag rest. -
Question: Have these been discontinued? I can't find them anywhere.
Answer: I would like to know that answer too. I contacted the company and was told they were on a pause but would return. Still waiting, that was winter I asked 😒. Don't know myself.
