- WearMax Scratch Corrector reduces the appearance of scratches on luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floors. Almost all luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring will streak WHITE when the topcoat is drilled. The visible white line is the result of the crystallization of the floor finish.
- WearMax Scratch Concealer is a repair treatment that reseals the finish coat on luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring. Once applied, the product will cure to become a PERMANENT part of the floor finish. Scratch Concealer will not wash off like all alternative repair solutions do.
- WearMax Scratch Concealer will not remove the physical indentation of the scratch or fill in dents, gouges or voids. It will greatly reduce the visibility of most abrasions by eliminating the unsightly white line and resealing the damaged finish surface.
- WearMax Scratch Concealer cures under normal indoor lighting. Reduce overall drying time through increased amounts of light.
- Use only as directed. To maximize the performance of this product, follow the instructions on the bottle.

Question: My ltv is grey will this cover the scratch and match?
Answer: It is clear. -
Question: Have you used this on light colored (light oak almost) colored lvt? how did it work?
Answer: On a scale of 1- 10, I would only give it a 4 or 5 at best. Initial appearance was better, but the persistence of the color was deficient with day 3 seeing a notable fade and lightening of the shade so that even a quick look at the area would be able to detect more than a subtle difference of tint. Asuperficial glance might miss the area of excoriation, but a good view would readily note the area damaged. results are disappointing. -
Question: Can it be used on luxury vinyl planks
Answer: Hello Don! Yes. If you your luxury vinyl planks are finished with aluminum oxide then this would be a good product for you! Any surface finished with aluminum oxide is compatible with this product. Best, Jessey -
Question: How do i remove the excess from the surrounding floor other than the scratch? it was way to shiny! and does not match.
Answer: I agree. It just doesn't work. I had to use QuikShine to make the entire floor shiny. Happy with those results, but sorry I wasted the money on the so-called scratch concealer. -
Question: Does this work on laminate flooring?
Answer: Hello! WearMax is compatible with any flooring that is finished with aluminum oxide! -
Question: Is there a trick to opening the bottle? I can’t get anything to come out and can’t even unscrew the lid to check.
Answer: To open/close the bottle twist the black tip portion. Twist clockwise to open and counter clockwise to close. -
Question: how to get it off once cured? I hate the areas of sheen on my matte finish floor
Answer: I don't know after it is cured. Next time use a Q tip to draw directly on the line, then take your finger or a soft cloth and in go over the areas around the line, I did this and had no sheen. -
Question: What type of lighting do i need to use to get it to cure? i have overhead led lighting but it doesn't seem to cure under that type of lighting.
Answer: It shouldn’t need any light to cure. You only use a very small amount. -
Question: Does this work on a light grey vinyl plank floor?
Answer: The product is colorless, it is a thick clear liquid, I don't see why not! It comes out very thick, a little goes a long way. I used a Q-tip to run straight down the line let it set for a moment then rub in a circular pattern across the line and the surrounding floor to blend it in properly. -
Question: would this work on grey cortec flooring please
Answer: Yes. WearMax is clear so the color of the flooring is immaterial. My floor is also CoreTec and it worked great.
