Question: Do I have to use with 4 dryer balls or can I use this by itself?
Answer: I started by using it by itself but love the smell so much , I just keep adding a new one along with the old one when I’ve been using it for a couple of months . I think I have 3 or 4 in the dryer most of the time (not so much for the fragrance which is great but they work so well keeping the load from clumping up and I can see no reason to throw them out ) . -
Question: Do the Dryer Balls replaces Dryer sheets?
Answer: Dryerballs are a natural replacement for dryer sheets. Dryer sheets are made largely of petroleum. You would need 4 dryerballs to work effectively (we recommend using 1 scented with 3/4 dryerballs for best results). The dryerballs help prevent fabrics in the dryer from bunching together and rubbing together to create static cling. In doing so, they help shorten drying time (because things are separated and able to dry properly) -
Question: Can the dryer balls be cleaned?
Answer: I haven’t had any need to clean them. They are wool so probably not a good idea to wash them -
Question: Are clothes dried with lavender wool balls safe to be around?
Answer: Our dryerballs are made with 100% NZ wool and we use Lavender essential oil in the center of the wool ball. There is nothing unsafe about the product so long as you are not allergic to wool or lavender essential oil! -
Question: Can the dryer balls be washed?
Answer: As the dryerballs are being used with clean clothes there really isn't much need but if you would like to wash them, we recommend washing them inside a sock using Nellie's Laundry Soda or another natural detergent to preserve the wool. -

Answer: Nellie's Scented Wool Dryerballs are made of 100% pure New Zealand Wool and manufactured in Canada. -
Question: Will the oils within the ball leach out & damage clothes?
Answer: I have not noticed this. However, I have stopped using the plain balls, and the lavender ball. The lavender scent was too strong, and I suffer from migraines, it would trigger them. But I also noticed that if clothes of different make, ex, Cotten, linen, nylon, polyester, etc.. the balls did not work to stop static cling.. in fact, it made it worse. I am certainly not going to start looking at labels to see the make up of my clothes... but they did dry faster... i am just not going to do a lot of different loads to get rid of static cling. And mind you, I never used dryer sheets in the spring through the early fall as that when there is not usually an issue with static cling.. but then these balls created issues in the summer... no thank you! -

Question: Any way to refill the lavender oil
Answer: Some people add a few drops of essential oil to their dryerballs once the scent dissipates on it's surface. Be sure not too add too much as it could leave residue on your clothes. -
Question: Is there just one wool ball?
Answer: Yes. Only one in this box. There is an unscented set that comes with 4. The box looks like a little washing machine. I just put a few drops of lavender essential oil on mine and then they scented...
