    Overview

    The DMV Vented Scleral Cup is designed to provide a stable platform for inserting contact lenses that need to be filled with lens solution during insertion. This product has an air channel through the handle so it can be automatically released from the lens once the lens has been placed on the eye. Product is not to be used for removal of lenses. Do not use this product with diseased, injured or otherwise compromised eyes.

      Answer: Yes, it can be used for soft lenses or SynergEyes lenses which are soft lenses with a gas permeable (firm) lens in the center.

      Answer: No. Plunger only.

    Works well
    Original plungers used were solid at the bottom so no light was visible thru the center of the plunger. Because this is vented light is visible which helps lining up to center of my eye. And because any liquids that get inside the plunger doesn't just sit inside, it seems less likely to have bacteria buildup inside.

    Double check your needs.
    My mistake, but this was for insertion only and not extraction. Why anyone would want a tool for scleral lens that doesn't have a vacuum, I don't know.
