Question: Can this work for the back of my ankle?
Answer: Yes, it will work all the way around. I disagree with the first comment on this thread. It actually stays cold a very long time. I would say a few hours at minimum. -
Question: Can you sleep with this?
Answer: You should not sleep with ice-cold packs on your muscles; usually needs to be used 10-20 min. It can hinder your body's natural healing processes, if left on too long and keeps the muscle highly contracted. -
Question: Are these made from latex or rubber?
Answer: Canvas...like umbrella material. Really nice. -
Question: Are these bpa & bps free, phtalates free, lead free, chemical free, non-toxic???
Answer: Everything (all matter in the universe)is made of chemicals. -
Question: this is made for small people, not men. Is there an attachment to extend it?
Answer: I have very small wrists and would say that this products is definitely not made for small people. I found the product to be too large for me. The velcro is adjustable along the entire length of the band, allowing you to close the wrap all the way out to the farthest length. However if you still feel you need an attachment I found the company's customer response to be very good and they reached out to me to check for product satisfaction. They might be able to direct you to any extension product that they sell. -
Question: How long is the wrap? I want to make sure it will fit around my lower leg above the ankle.
Answer: Fits your wrist area. It's not that large. -
Question: Can this be used to wrap hand with a focus on the five fingers? If not, which product can?
Answer: I just tried it on my hand and the wrap will fit around all my fingers including my thumb, but the ice part of the wrap will either ice the top or the bottom at a time it will not ice the top and inside of your hand at the same time. You can ice the top and then move in around to ice the inside (palm side ). This is a nice ice wrap and does a good job I use it on my feet and it does wrap around my foot, just like the hand I ice the top for 20 minutes and then shift it around to do the bottom for 30 minutes Thanks Vinc -
Question: how do you heat it? do you boil it, or microwave it?
Answer: I microwaved mine for 30 seconds and it was too hot, almost burned my hand. No more than 10 seconds for heating. It's also not moist heat so won't do much good for muscles etc. probably keep hands warm outside really well ! -
Question: How long is the wrap? My arms are chubby!
Answer: It can wrap around ankle not calf. Also arms as well.
