    Overview

    Helps to protect and heal skin irritations from incontinence, minor burns, scrapes, diaper rash or wound drainage. Temporarily relieves discomfort and itching. Provides a multiple purpose moisture barrier. Contains calamine, zinc oxide, menthol and lanolin.

    • Question: What size is the tube?

      Answer: The tube is 4 oz.
    • Question: What skin irritations does this product work for?

      Answer: It helps with incontinence, minor burns, scrapes, diaper rash or wound drainage.
    • Question: Can this product be used on sensitive skin?

      Answer: It is always recommended to do a patch test first, but this product is commonly used for sensitive skin.
    • Question: If you get it on your clothes, will it come out?

      Answer: The zinc oxide base is hard to remove from fabric. Scrape off excess zinc cream with a butter knife. Pour baking soda over the stain to absorb the oil in the zinc cream. Place enough over the stain that it covers it completely. Let the baking soda sit on the stain for at least four hours. Wipe the baking soda off the fabric with a clean cloth or paper towel.
    • Question: Is it good for keloids?

      Answer: I have no idea since It’s use was recommended for a much different problem (which it was very effective for). I really like this product and am so happy it was recommended by my MD specialist.
    • Question: I have and use this. The one I use is pink. Is this one the same?

      Answer: Yes! The ointment is pink.
    • Question: What ingredient in it has caused it to be on California’s prop 65 list?

      Answer: These are the ingredients found in Calmoseptine: Lanolin 15.7%; Menthol 0.44%; Petrolatum 24%; Zinc Oxide 20.6%. I know of no reason for this product to be on CA’s Prop 65 list.
    • Question: I intend to buy this, but I need to know what is the expiration date for both tubes?

      Answer: I bought a 6-pack of Calmoseptine in February 2013. The tube has no expiration date on it, but it has the following information on it: 1-800-800-3405; www.calmoseptine.com; and Calmoseptine, Inc., Huntington Beach, CA 92647.
    • Question: What is the lidocaine percentage?

      Answer: This product does not contain lidocaine.
    • Question: How many tubes come in this order? I got 2 tubes before, and this time only got one.

      Answer: This product is listed as a Pack of 2. However, to be sure, it would be best to cross-check with the retailer from whom you are buying it.
    • Question: How long does a refund take to process?

      Answer: Refund processing time varies. It can take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks.
    • Question: Would this soothe rosacea on the face?

      Answer: I wouldn’t think you’d want to put this on your face. It is extremely thick (like diaper cream) & pink, messy & I don’t know how you’d get it off!

    It really works
    This product is very good for bed sores and diaper rashes. For bedridden patients that developed bed sores this medicine helps drop up rashes and sores. But you still have to turn patients every two hours to get great results. Will continue to buy again. You just need a little bit, thin layers work the best.

    I have a family member that is bed bound, the cream prevents and helps heal skin irritation in the brief area.

    I love it!
    My child has redness and diaper rash. I fought more than one producer, but to no avail. Finally, I tried this cream. It's magic. It works great and quickly.

    BEST STUFF EVER!!!!!
    This stuff works for literally just about everything!! Any kind of skin breakdown, rashes, hemorrhoids, fissures, pressure sores, cuts, you name it. It works fast & overnight for minor issues. My family uses it regularly & we all love it.

    So soothing!
    I get fairly frequent breakouts of hives/itchy sores due to liver problems. I've tried so many lotions or ointments, but this one works the best! It immediately soothes, and an application lasts quite a long time. I will never be out of this product again!

    Great for persistent dry skin and itching
    Unbelievable results overnight! Worked on several dry skin patches due to rashes after exercise….and other itchy spots! Definitely a must have cream!
