      Answer: All dairy cows are fed grass, but conventionally ranched dairy cows are fed only 50-80% grass ( depending on the age of the cow and other factors ). This particular product simply CANNOT be labeled "From 100% grass fed milk". That's all. Frankly, I think it's price gouging to charge twice as much more (per pound) than this product for a WPC powder that was sourced from a cow on a grass-only diet.
    • Question: what is the % of the WPC ?

      Answer: John Ross didnt read the label correctly just FYI. It is 25g of protein for every 35g (34.92) scoop = so about 71%, still a pretty good ratio. FYI.
    • Question: Is this whey hormone-free?

      Answer: Yes!
    • Question: what is the difference between the isolate and the concentrate?

      Answer: Along with the protein, all of these powders also add the phospholipid, Lecithin. The current source for this unflavored product is listed as sunflower oil. This indicates the attached fatty acids are most prominently unsaturated. Lecithin has various uses in food products. Its use in this product is probably emulsification, so the powder mixes well. It also may help with anti-caking in the dry product.

    Unflavored protein is the way to go
    I have finally found a good unflavored whey protein product at a decent quantity and price. You can mix it with anything and it has a neutral flavor. If you like your protein shake sweet, you can always add some stevia or monk fruit without worrying about insulin spikes. No coloring, no sucralose, concentrated protein at low calories without extra carbs. Great price. I am a happy customer. Hint: If you like extra flavor, add unsweetened cocoa powder or ceylon cinnamon. Another option is some organic coconut oil.

    Good Value!
    Great Value but the vanilla is a little potent for me. I like to add it to my Matcha Latte in the morning, the sweetness has allowed me to stop using any other sweeter in my drink but I would still choose a non flavored product next time.
