      Answer: Description says, "Highly absorbent and featuring an attached gauze wrap." I don't think that it is adhesive. I got it for my dad to have on hand in case he got a bad cut. His platelet count in low, and he bleeds freely.

    Best i have ever used.
    Great items to have for heavy bleading. Have used them in the past for a chain saw cut to a man's leg. It worked as intended and held up long enuff to get the man to the hospital about 20 mins away. (30-40 mins. Total use and had room to absorb more) the pressure it puts on the wound helps cut down the bleeding. Combine this with celox or a clotting agent and you got all you need to be able to get to professional help.

    Reassurance during an emergency.
    We feel safer having these in our first aide kit. It allows us a way to stop or control bleeding until we reach care.
