Question: What’s the difference between sleepy time and sound sleep ?
Answer: I have tried both in my sons' room. One of them is autistic and has trouble sleeping. I didn't really notice much of a change in their sleep but they like the sound asleep blend better because of its smell. I agree with them- the sound asleep blend just smells better or is more pleasing. Didn't notice that one worked better than the other. -
Question: Does this and/or the focus oil work the same for adults??
Answer: The OK For Kids blends are just as effective for adults as our normal synergy line is! -
Question: Is there a specific size dropper that would fit to replace the cap?
Answer: The neck size of our 100 ml and 250 ml bottles is 28 mm. We do not offer droppers for these bottles. An alternative method of measuring oil out in drops, is by using a pipette, or eye dropper. You can also transfer oil from larger bottles into smaller bottles which do have droppers (5 ml, 10 ml, 30 ml). -
Question: I have a silly question! Say I purchase the children's breathe in and breathe out roll on bottle will I still have to diffuse it?
Answer: You don't "have to" :) but it is a good idea to diffuse for added benefits. Inhaling the essential oil steam is great for lungs. So is applying topically to chest with roll-on. I would do both if I wasn't on a tight budget and really wanting extra benefits. -
Question: Do you have Scenture essential oil
Answer: We are sorry to say we do not offer Scenture Essential Oil. -
Question: What is the color of the oil?
Answer: It is blue, but turns clear as soon as it hits the water. -
Question: Will this work well in a diffuser?
Answer: Yes. Can diffuse or mix with carrier oil and apply to skin for kids older than 2. -
Question: How many drops for a 300 ml diffuser?
Answer: In a 300ml ultrasonic diffuser, we recommend 40-45 drops. You can also add more if you wish for a stronger aroma. -
Question: what is the difference between this and sleepy head (I currently use sleepy head for my daughter)
Answer: Sound Asleep and Sleepy Head both have similar therapeutic properties but it depends on which ingredients you like better. They differ in aroma. -
Question: What carrier oil to use to dilute and hoe many drops per carrier oil amount to use? My son is 9!yrs old 10 in october
Answer: I would use 1-2 drops for every 1 tsp/5ml of carrier oil if you are going to use on skin. This will give you a 1-2% dilution ratio that is more appropriate for kids. You have a lot of options for carrier oils: coconut, olive, sweet almond, jojoba... That being said, I believe it would be more effective in a diffuser. At home you can use a regular diffuser, which is what I did when using it while studying my university coursework. If you are hoping to use it at school, a personal diffuser like a necklace or one you can wear on your wrist might be a better option. Usually all you need is a drop for those, but the scent likely won’t be as strong in the afternoon if it is applied in the morning.
