Question: How much sugar is in this product?
Answer: Firstly, I don't see any high fructose corn syrup. That's good news. The bad news now. Maltodextrin has about the same glycemic index as table sugar. I don't know, from a keto/carb, standpoint what that means, but I do know that many sugar alcohols can get that insulin response even when they have zero carbs. That is bad. Maltodextrin is also hard on your liver. I think it's crap that a company promoting "ORGANIC" and "healthy" things are shoving garbage into their products. Sucralose another very, very evil sweetener. Zero cabs, but that insulin will be soaring. Know what else is in this stuff? CORN STARCH. Don't grains go to sugar when ingested? Corn is high in carbs. Organic means nothing. You can have organic sugar and it doesn't mean you should ingest it. There is better out there. You get what you pay for. -
Question: does this have caffiene?
Answer: No -
Question: Does this product have Lead?
Answer: Not sure if it has lead or not however, the last time I received it it wasn't green. It was a mustard colored powder which I threw out! I didn't trust it. I had ordered it in the past and it was green as it's supposed to be, but now I'm leary. -
Question: how many servings of veggies do you get from one scoop ?
Answer: Hardly none. Its 8.something grams and 1. something grams and the rest is something else. I am exchanging it. I dont feel a green feeling -
Question: Does it have spirulina?
Answer: Spirulina is listed on the ingredients label. -
Question: Does this comtain alfalfa?
Answer: I don't recall. Read the Label & it may be listed there. If not, I doubt if it's in it. -
Question: does the product contains sugar ?
Answer: Can’t read the list of ingredients but it does say contains no artificial sweeteners. I assume that means it only contains sugar from the fruits that in it. -
Question: Does this taste like cinnamon? Other powders from this company does, and it is overwhelming.
Answer: NO? It's awesome because it really does not have flavor so I can mix it with my vanilla protein powder and berries shake without that cinnamon taste that the Amazing Grass Green Superfood has. And this is the only one I've found that has no flavor! Plus, if you need it right away, they sell it at Walmart too! If you know of any other greens powder that doesn't have a flavor, let me know!!
