Answer: These didn't work for mom at all. She tried them with and without her hearing aids. They are just sitting in a drawer. Hearing loss requires more than just something that amplifies sound. -

Answer: Everyone’s dB experience is different. Louder isn’t necessarily better. It’s just, well, louder. Sometimes sound quality and identification suffer at higher dbs. I picked this up as a backup, and it has served well in that capacity. Hope this helped. You -

Answer: It is not advisable to utilize the Reizen Mighty Loud Ear personal sound amplifier to talk on the phone as it is intended for in person conversations. If you are looking for a solution to talk on the phone, we recommend an amplified phone. -
Question: Is the earphone cord a standard studio jack for other around the ears ear buds? Is there a lanyard hook on the back?
Answer: Yes it is a standard stereo jack and any standard stereo headphones will be compatible. No there is not a lanyard hook. -
Question: Is there any noise or static reduction control for this hearing device?
Answer: Not really, this just amplifies whatever sounds. We got it to help my fathering law in church, he still couldn't hear. If you need something with noise cancelation, try Nano CIC they are great for the price. Per my hubby, better than $6000 hearing aids.
