Question: all the brands have 4.5 stars making it that much harder to pick a brand lol 1st world problem?
Answer: Just this year I have worn Bens in Africa, Ecuador, and Peru. All these areas have a risk for malaria and other mosquito driven diseases. Not one time did I get bit by a mosquito using Bens. I had other friends who had used others brands and got bit a lot. My father is traveling to Nicaragua in July and he will be taking Bens! -
Question: How does the product smell once you have wiped it on?
Answer: It has a very light odor, which I didn't notice after a few seconds. I should note that since I wear permethrin infused closing I only use Ben's on my hand, face & neck, and ankles. It works very well. I had no issues on a recent 2 1/2 week trip to Southern Africa. -
Question: Can you use one wipe for the whole body?
Answer: That would depend on the size of the person and how efficiently you apply it. I've seen one wipe used for two or three children at a time. With "Whole Body" of course referring only to the exposed areas. -
Question: I get bitten through my clothes. Anyone use this under your clothes? Does it damage synthetic clothes?
Answer: It's perfectly fine to use under clothes. -
Question: I am specifically looking to avoid no-see-ums... in florida, near the waterways and marsh. anyone have success with these wipes against no-see-ums?
Answer: All I can tell you is I have never gotten bitten or stung by anything when I've used these wipes whether it was something I could see or not see, but everybody's different -
Question: Does it remove nail polish?
Answer: I don’t know if it removes nail polish. I doubt it, though. -
Question: Is there an expiration date on these?
Answer: The manufacturer has not provided an expiration date. -
Question: Says "Warning. Read back of box." but back of box not shown in either size wipes. What should we know?
Answer: Don't use on cuts and wounds or irritated skin. Don't get in eyes. Dont use on infants. Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, and using tobacco. The standard regulatory precautionary statements.
