    Overview

    For use on clothing, tents, and other gear, Sawyer Premium Permethrin Clothing Insect Repellent not only repels insects, it actually kill ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers, mites, and more than 55 other kinds of insects on contact. It is effective against the Aedes Aegypti (Yellow Fever Mosquito), which can transmit the Zika Virus.

    Permethrin is odorless after drying and will not stain or damage clothing, fabrics, plastics, finished surfaces, or any of your outdoor gear. Use it while hunting for an odorless way to protect yourself from common bugs. The active ingredient Permethrin is a synthetic molecule similar to pyrethrum which is taken from the Chrysanthemum flower.

    A single application lasts up to six washings or up to 40 days of sun exposure. Repellent should be applied outdoors and before clothing is worn; after it’s treated, hang clothing and let dry 2 hours (4 hours in humid conditions).

    Yes lotion, no spray
    I got this bundle thinking the spray would work great for outerwear since these florida bugs seem to bite through even clothing..however... dispite it literally being in the name of the product, the back of the spray bottle says dont use on clothing, its harmful if it touches your skin.. totally contradicting. I won't touch it now for safety precaution obviously... so it was a total waste of money. So far the lotion works good though which is why I gave 3 stars.

    Sawyer has very good products
    Spraying down the clothes you wear into the woods and fields keeps the mosquitos, chiggers and ticks away. The repellent protects your skin nicely. With so many vermin borne pathogens it is important to avoid exposure. Using these is a good method to stay healthier.

    Excellent protectant
    Went to Thailand and this was perfect for the climate there. Don’t skip a day, must use everyday. Put the lotion on overtop of everything. Spray your clothes before you put them on. Excellent protectant.
