    Customer Questions & Answers

    • Question: weight bearing

Answer: I am 170 lb, I had to keep my foot off the floor, used them for almost 1 month. The webbed underarm pieces are is easy on your underarm although you cannot bear all your weight on them. The grips are nice but your wrists and hands still get strained.
    • Question: What are the main differences between the regular and ultra Mobilegs?

Answer: 1.) The ultra has ergonomic handles 2.) The ultra has webbed like plastic for under the arms, more flexible looking than the regular but I do not really know since I have not seen the regular in person. Those are the only 2 things that I know of.
    • Question: Can the crutches be easily disassembled for travel and if so, what is the minimum length when broken down?

Answer: I have seen multiple responses, stating you need tools to disassemble and that it is very difficult. I am assuming you are trying to make them as compact as possible for travel, with the least amount of difficulty. You can separate into three parts, without the use of tools and in less than a minute. The longest piece will be the center (white), and it will be 28.5" long. I placed both crutches in my suitcase, with my clothes, to deliver to a family member.
    • Question: Does this item come with one or two crutches?

Answer: Each order comes with two crutches (right and left).
    • Question: Do I need additional pads for under the arm with these or are they comfortable as they are?

Answer: Absolutely not. They were very comfortable as is. The best part about them was that they saved my wrists. I was on them everyday, all day for 14 weeks and all the problems I had with standard crutches were gone. Simply having wrists in a neutral position made all the difference. The “saddle” under the arm pivots and retracts slightly which allows for moving in tighter spaces. They are also very light and manageable getting in and out of a car. Hope that helps.
    • Question: Can I buy just the feet? We already have the Mobilegs but need replacement feet.

Answer: Go to the Mobilegs website (Google "mobilegs" and you can purchase replacement feet and handgrips.
    • Question: Is there a way to tighten the handle and the under arm pad?

Answer: Not that I found. My physical therapist tried too. Still best crutches I used.

    Comfortable but Awkward spring movement
Feeling of instability due to the spring mechanism. For my 15 y/o. We didn’t want to chance it due to no weight bearing and them not being able to cast it. Would work for someone who is an adult and wants a better crutch experience, has a cast or solid brace, while you’re getting used to the feeling.

    Excellent crutches
These crutches are excellent. They're being used by a non-surgical disabled person with low stability and non-weightbearing status. They are slightly heavy, but it's no issue unless you have to carry them instead of use them. The top is designed to prevent using the underarm rest to bear weight (It has "give" and gets out of the way) and thus helps avoid stressing the joint or causing nerve damage in the area from shoulders to arms. So helpful! They can be used to create a walking pattern with left leg/right crutch and right leg/left crutch moving together so that there is a stride. Recommend!

    Easy to adjust, lightweight
These were very easy to adjust so that they fit well. The underarm portion and handles are both far more comfortable than the older style crutches everyone has used. Very lightweight. Definitely glad we bought these.

    They changed my mind...
I bought these and was going to return them when a friend gave me their normal crutches. I was so impressed with these that I just kept them. The suspension int he armpits really helps. The other crutches made me really sore there. They are also much easier to use. This design should be the standard crutch people use. If you have to be on crutches for more than a week I would buy these. I have had these for 11 days and it is already worth the money.

    Must need crutches
This pair of crutches have been one of my best purchases. They are more expensive but you can’t put a price on comfort! No more soreness under your armpit from rubbing. No more sounding like a pirate. The hand grip is ergonomically shaped and fits like a glove! If you are wondering if you should bite the bullet and get them, let this be your sign!!
