Question: just how durable is this device as I can't afford a second one senior 85 yr.old
Answer: It is small & light enough to withstand most drops. Don't leave on clothes headed for the wash or drop in bath or toilet. It amplifies ALL sounds, not just what you want to hear. Quite durable with common sense. Earphone would be most likely to fail and they are cheap. -
Question: what is the difference in specifications of the reizner loud ear amplifier and reizner mighty loud ear persomal amplifier----???
Answer: I didn't see any difference between both with my hearing loss. It depend on what kind of headphones using too, that make a little louder with the white one. -
Question: Can I purchase an extra ear bud to go with this?
Answer: If I remember correctly they make not only a more powerful devices but different ear buds, so I'm guessing they will sell or give you one. Try communicating with them. They were excellent to deal with. -
Question: Do they have Noise canceling ?
Answer: All this unit does is amplify. And there is the obvious part that it is set up to work with only one earbud. So if someone has hearing in two ears the other ear can be picking up noise. -
Question: Can anyone tell me where to get replacement earphone for this unit that will not come apart on the first use? There has to be a better earphone.
Answer: I've just used other earphone's from other hearing aids and they seem to work. -
Question: It may have 120 dB SPL SOUND OUTPUT. Maybe about 50 dB gain - Get it straight. Why do you puit out false info?.

Question: Will this help someone with severe hearing loss, or is it only effective for those with mild or moderate hearing loss?
Answer: My hearing loss is 'almost' severe, and it 'seems' to help; at least I can hear louder, and somehow better.
