Question: is this made in the United States?
Answer: Yes. If you zoom in on the picture you can see the Made In USA. -
Question: is it safe for wooden floors? Will it scratch them?
Answer: Not if you’re careful. It is metal, however, so I’d avoid dropping it on a wooden floor. Otherwise, it should be safe. -
Question: How wide is it? I don’t see any dimensions. Thanks.
Answer: The pan is 12 inches wide and about 8 inches deep. The handle is about 6 inches long. It is well built -
Question: can a broom handle be installed?
Answer: Yes, I assume so. The handle is tapered so the handle wouyld need to be tapered at the end. You could use the "Hole" in the handle to attach to the handle with a screw. -
Question: How heavy is it?
Answer: I don't know how much it weighs. But I am a 76-year-old with back issues and don't pick up much of anything that's heavy. I have no trouble with this dustpan. -
Question: dose it have a rubber or plastic lip on the end ?
Answer: No! No plastic or rubber anywhere on the dustpan. We used one exactly like this while I was active Air Force (20 years 2 months and 27 days, not that I kept track). These are almost indestructible and work as well or better than anything else I've ever used. HTH Lou
