    • Question: Does this have Stevia in it?

      Answer: No, these are sweetened with erythritol (sugar alcohol) and sucralose (artificial sweetener). It would be better (read: healthier) if they used stevia which is natural, has no carbs, & does not affect blood glucose levels instead of sucralose. Many people don't like stevia due to its bitterness & aftertaste, but blended with erythritol takes care of both of those things. As a person with Type 2 Diabetes, artificial sweeteners raise my blood sugar levels.
    • Question: Does these contain any bioengineered food product, like atkins does now?

      Answer: Ingredients: Whey Protein Isolate, Erythritol, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Peanuts, Palm Kernel Oil, Soluble Corn Fiber, Sodium Caseinate. Contains Less Than 2% Of The Following: Sunflower Lecithin, Sea Salt, Butterfat, Natural Flavor, Peanut Oil, Sucralose. Allergens & Warnings: Contains: milk, peanuts. Processed in a facility that also processes soy, wheat and tree nuts.
    • Question: When will these be available again?

      Answer: They're available now. Order quickly before they are out of stock again. The first time I tried to order it, they were out. On a whim, I checked tonight & they have some so I ordered two.
    • Question: What is the white residue? Is is mold or an ingredient coming out from age or heat?

      Answer: I've never had white residue on mine, the only thing I can think of is the peanut butter inside from age maybe? Mine are always very fresh and it doesn't take me long to eat them, they are so delicious. I've seen that happen before with peanut butter inside if its old but not with these candies, on other old candy bars.
    • Question: How do these compare taste wise compared to Slim Fast's peanut butter cup fat bombs? Those are delicious but have more net carbs.

      Answer: They taste terrible. They don't taste like chocolate or peanut butter and they are not sweet. Russell Stover is way better tasting.
    • Question: Issues with the packaging? Mine came in a bag & were completely out of the flimsy box (I guess they were supposed to come in). Many damaged!

      Answer: I would definitely contact the seller. Mine arrived fine.
    • Question: Does the product contain any insect based ingredients? Cricket flour or meal worms?

    The taste is great
    I love peanut butter cups, but recently was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. So I have given up sweets. I have a strong sweet tooth so it has been difficult. But important to start reading nutritional values. These are great, they come in a pack of two, but I only eat one, and that takes care of my craving. Sometimes I actually eat a half of one. It's that feeling of control to be able to add a sweet to my new diet. Keeps me from impulse buying a real heavy sugar peanut butter cup.

    I finally read the ingredients!
    I recently started a candida cleanse and have removed sugar completely from my diet. These have been my morning go to for the past couple of months. They have it all, right? They taste great, are sugar free and have a nice amount of protein. I was just going to order more today when for some reason I decided to look at the reviews. One customer was concerned about sucralose being used as a sweetener. So I googled sucralose and didn't like what I saw. Then I looked at another sugar free peanut butter cup and one of the reviews pointed out the use of erythritol, so I googled that. What I found made me more concerned than the sucralose. So I finally pulled out a pack of my Quest Peanut Butter Cups and looked at the label. 8 grams of Erythritol in addition to the minor amount of sucralose. I know that there are opposing opinions about the safety of these sweeteners, but there is evidence that they mess with your microbiome, something I'm currently trying to fix! To sum up, these taste great with a nice punch of protein, but until the artificial sweeteners are replaced with something natural like Stevia I will have to give up this guilty pleasure.

    These are good & satisfying. For a serving size of two peanut butter cups you get 11g of protein, 1 gram of net carbs and less than one gram of sugar.

    Great taste
    Tastes great for a protein snack. Obviously doesn't taste exactly like a standard peanut butter cup, but I'd recommend them as a snack with high protein content.
