Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question: How does this compare to doterra breathe oil?
Answer: This oil was as effective as my Doterra “breath” oil. I was very happy because I wanted this oil to help heal from a chest cold. This has a slightly different blend (including Tea Tree and Pine) so smells a little different. To me has a more tea tree smell, where the Doterra is a little more pleasant (Doterra Breath: oils including Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, Ravintsara, and Ravensara. ) This is a better price (per quantity) that Doterra so if you want good performance and price, this is a better choice. Very happy with this product. -
Question: “Is this safe for pets in the house? I read some of these are toxic to dogs.
Answer: My granddaughter, who has asthma, sleeps with "Sugar", her Pomeranian, every night. I got her 'breathe' for Christmas, not only did she quit doing her good morning sneezing, but so did the dog. Good for both of them. -
Question: Can you use this to mix herbs and smoke out of a vape pen?
Answer: No! Do not vape any oils. You will trash your lungs. -
Question: How does it smell?
Answer: Strongly of eucalyptus. The peppermint oil is also strong. There is a hint of pine too. I like it alot. It smells, to me, like a cough drop tastes. -
Question: How many drops for a 300ml diffuser?
Answer: I put about 20 drops in my diffuser/ -
Question: How many drops would you used in a 150ml diffuser?
Answer: We have much larger diffusers 700ml 😋 is play around with that. Start with 5-7 and see if that’s good for your room size. -
Question: can you put this in a diffuser?
Answer: Yes it smells really nice. Also nice to put a few drops on a moist heated towel and put it around your neck -
Question: Can this oil be used in a warm Vicks Humidifier machine? How would it be added?
Answer: Some humidifiers have a small cup on top to be used for oils or Vick’s Vaporub. I have tried using essential oil in my humidifier and even a small amount melted some plastic inside and it broke. Better used in a diffuser meant to be used with water and a few drops of oil. -
Question: What is a all natural product used to treat dandruff?
Answer: I use Tea Tree Oil with a little bit of Coconut Oil and Eucalyptus Oil. -
Question: Q: Can this be used in a nebuliser and do I need to add water
Answer: I wish I could say with certainty, but I've only used essential oils for aroma therapy and not breathing therapy. Since you need a prescription for nebulizers, you should contact your doctor first. Most of these machines are meant to be used with certain prescription medications (e.g. Albuterol and such) and probably won't do well with oily substances since they need to be cleaned frequently. That being said, there is still the possibility of some nebulizers being able to take essential oils, but you would need to ask your doctor first to check if you can use them with your particular nebulizer model without damaging it and if you can, how often should you use them. Also, the use of water is essential for atomizing the essential oils; it all depends on your preference. I tweak the ratio of water to oil in my diffuser depending on what I feel comfortable with at the time (i.e. 7-12 drops of oil to 100ml of water), so you might want to experiment with the mix and check for yourself. Hope this helps.
