Question: Are they stainless steel?
Answer: They are supposed to be stainless, if they are it is a very poor grade. Everyone I have used has rusted. I change mine twice a month and sofar they have kept a lot of dog hair out of the laundry tub drain so I'm good with a little rust. they are inexpensive, easily available in large quantities.
