Question: Does this bottle have a dispenser/flip top cap or is it just a screw on cap you have to remove?
Answer: NO. As of July 2022, this only has a screw cap. It does not have a dispenser of any sort, making it somewhat difficult to use. -
Question: Can this be used for toothpaste?
Answer: I don't think so because the fractionated Coconut oil is liquid like consistency. Way runny almost like water. What you want is Virgin because it solidifies and u can use it as a paste. -
Question: How many drops of citronella essential oils should I add to make insect repellent?
Answer: Suggest you refer to your essential oil manufacturer or search for "recipe".Sorry, can't offer answer not knowing purety, grade,etc of your oil. Best of luck... -
Question: What's the trick in unlocking the pump? Gave up on the first one and was going to return it. The replacement that I received is jammed also.
Answer: Once you have the pump on the bottle, gently press down on the pump with the palm of your hand and slowly rotate the pump head to one side. I don't recall whether it's to the right or left hand side. You should then feel the top of the pump free itself and pop up. Hope this works for you. -

Question: What's The difference between this and coconut oil for cooking?
Answer: Fractionated coconut oil is a liquid at room temperature. Most virgin coconut cooking oil is a solid at room temperature. While you can cook with liquid coconut oil, this particular product has not been labeled as a food grade safe oil. It would have to pass a food grade test. -
Question: If this is 100% pure and natural, why is it labeled for external use only? I need something that can also be used internally.
