Question: Can homemade soap cure in these bags? Freshly cut from the molds
Answer: I would guess they are loosely woven enough for air to flow and soap to cure. They are a little stiffer than homespun, but loose like that, however not nearly as open as a cheesecloth. -
Question: Is this food-safe?
Answer: I don't really know. I would think something dry, like grapes, would be ok. There is no kind of chemical smell to them. They seem to be all cotton. -
Question: Could you draw with sharpies on these bags? or would the ink bleed?
Answer: Yes, you can draw with sharpies on these bags and the link would not bleed. -
Question: Has the quality on these slipped? They used to have finished seams, and now they just fall apart, are missing bags, or didn't get sewn all the way?
Answer: My order seems to be in order. I did not find them to be falling apart as I pulled them , testing the seems. -
Question: Would these work for stamping an image on to the fabric?
Answer: Yes. I used ink for fabric. -
Question: Would these work to put spices in for cooking purposes?
Answer: The workmanship of these bags is excellent. However, they had a strong odor. I took them out of the package to let them air out for a few days, but it did not make a difference. Unfortunately, I had to throw them out. I do not know how well they would work for spices. I bought them for a different purpose.
