    Cures Eczema
    I got this for eczema that was very bad on my 1 year old. It literally healed their skin overnight. I use it everytime I see a dry patch of skin. Have used this brand for over 4 years. It's reliable and truly heals skin.

    Inflamed skin, eczema
    I have a huge patch of inflamed eczema on my Forehead and I bought this out of desperation to try to get rid of it. I've been on prescription medicine and even tried carnivore elimination diet. Even though I only saw a few reviews saying it helped with eczema I decided to try it myself. Luckily it has been working for it. It has calmed the inflammation down and no longer itchy. It's only been 3 days, eczema is still there but this oil did provide relief. Some people say it's a great moisturizer. I don't fully agree with this because if you put it over your lips it tastes really nasty and it burns your eyes. I would just apply it topically to the area giving you problems. The dropper sucks, so be aware the oil will leak from the dropper without squeezing it. Update: it has now been 7 days of applying this 2 times a day, once in the morning and once at night and my stubborn eczema is almost completely gone. I decided to expedite the process by applying hydrocortisone once a day. I believe without the hydrocortisone the healing process would take longer but without the tamanu oil the eczema would never go away. Definitely glad I bought this on a whim. I recommend it but keep in mind it won't work for everyone as everyone has different skin problems for different reasons. Update 3: after about 2 weeks of using this twice a day I no longer had to use it for eczema and I did notice it had other benefits such as reducing dullness of the skin and some light wrinkles I've had on my Forehead disappeared as well.

    Beneficial
    The smell of this product is truly natural, I do have to say. Other than that, this product assisted in the calming of my eczema. It goes on thick so no need to put a great amount.

    Smells rancid upon opening
    This is my first time buying and using this oil, so I don’t know what to expect. It is brownish-green and thick. The smell is so strong that I mix it with other oils to dilute/yet it remains an unpleasant smell throughout the day. Perhaps, I will end up using it as a foot oil instead. I have started to put it on thickly and allow it to absorb for several minutes and then I wipe it back to a consistency I can tolerate (ie: where my hair won’t stick to it and I can apply make-up over if using during the day). I do worry about using a product that has a foul smell as we are designed to recognize the things that aren’t good for us. I hope this is not doing detrimental things to me if I continue to use it.
