Question: Can i wear my glasses while wearing these?
Answer: Yes you can wear it over your glasses. I do it all the time. Just have to adjust the nose piece nose piece a little. -
Question: How heavy is this? Does anyone have difficulty with it causing headaches while wearing it for an extended period?
Answer: It's not very heavy, but the band would cause headaches if worn too tightly. If that is an issue, use the earpieces to make it more like a pair of glasses. Overall I haven't had a problem with the visor at all, the nasal bridge even fits behind my glasses so I can still wear them. I love mine! -
Question: Are these helpful for people with low vision read printed matter or see computers/computer screens?
Answer: They are not useful for TV viewing but work very well for reading and can help viewing a computer or tablet screen. -
Question: Can this be worn over existing glasses?
Answer: Not unless you have a really long nose with room for glasses and another pair of really big nose pads (about twice the size of the nose pads on glasses. -
Question: Will this work for people with big heads or odd shaped heads?
Answer: it should fit most heads, it has two wearing modes, the strap or worn over your nose like regular glasses. -
Question: where is it made
Answer: Good rule of thumb: if it's actually made in the USA (or some other western country with a quality reputation eg Germany), it almost certainly will be mentioned in the product information. Second rule of thumb, it isn't made in an afore mentioned place, it's probably made in China or the 3rd world. Still, it can be good to know specifically though. -
Question: It says upgradable but I do not see what is upgradable or how much?
Answer: I think you may have misread it. It says "upgraded" rather than "upgradable." I read it as the product has been upgraded since its last version. Mine works fine. -
Question: Is this product any different from wearing reading glasses and a headlamp?
Answer: Well it's similar...due to the fact that it has a light and you can change the lenses to get different tyoes of magnification, but I (my preference) would not use it as a reading glasses. -
Question: In measurements, how wide are the actual lenses?
Answer: The lens are about 4 in (10 cm) by 1.25 in ( 3 cm) -
Question: If i want to use this head magnifinging glass to work on my toes from a sitting position, how close will the glassess bring me to the toes???
Answer: I do not think this would be good for clipping toe nails. This is more for working on tiny things close at hand. Working on my models I am approx. 5 to 10 inches at most, away from parts.
