Snuggle Skins Cheeks - CPAP Straps Covers - No More Strap Marks Pink

I do not write reviews often unless I feel the product is deserving of my time and energy. This works - for once I did not wake up with the unsightly marks on my face indicating that my cpap was trying to strangle me at night. No amount of makeup could coverup the battle scene from the night before. I would trudge thru my day self conscious that the dreaded cpap wearer signs were in my face. Now, I truly do not care what people think however, for my own sanity, I just didn’t feel comfortable knowing that the device that keeps me breathing at night while I get my “beauty” sleep, was acting against my “beauty.” Enter the Snuggle Skin Cheeks to the rescue! Comfortable, easy to use and they freaking work. Bonus, small woman owned business. So this has my middle age Gen X stamp of approval. Thank You!!

These covers are not as soft as I was expecting and the material is too thick. I used them for a few nights but found them irritating to my skin.

I don't think there are too many people who actually like wearing a CPAP mask, other than the fact that it helps you to breath and gives you a better night's sleep once you figure out the best way to use it. I have been using CPAP therapy for, I think, more than 10 years (I'm on my 3rd machine), and the one thing I never liked were the lines on my face in the morning. I found these pads a number of years ago, and when I need to replace them I always come back to this brand because not all brands are alike. This uses regular velcro, which is heavier duty and lasts much longer than the micro-velcro. The padding itself is not too thin, which would mean heavier lines on your face, or to thick, which would be uncomfortable to sleep in if you sleep on your side (I tried both kinds from other brands). If you use this brand and sleep on your back you probably won't have any lines, or they will fade fast. I start out on my back, but switch to my side (because of lumbar achiness), and occasionally on my stomach (I know, but sometimes I just have to), so when I get up I can have deep lines from the seal, but the strap lines are much lighter than they are without these. Now I will say that as my pulmonologist raised the pressure I have had to tightened the straps or I wake up with air leaks all night long. I found that this made the straps against the back of my neck dig in and gave me stiffness and pain. I had to switch the bottom straps to a pad that includes a neck cover that I added a soft sponge wrapped in a strip of t-shirt material to cushion my neck. Works well, but it is thinner and does not reduce the lines from the straps nearly as well as these do. Wish they made one with the neck pad, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat.

The fabric is very fluffy and soft, which is what I was looking for but a bit big for my ResMed Swift FX Bella Nasal Pillows CPAP Mask with Headgear straps. The straps that come with the head gear by defaulr are not sufficient to keep from getting cpap marks on my face when i wake up. These did the trick but a bit large if I want to watch TV to fall asleep with (I put a timer on the TV to fall asleep -- I know you shouldn't at TV in bed but I do). I have to adjust them to get out of my field of vision. The covers have velcro to open and close them around the straps so they are easy to take on and off to wash the covers. So soft, fluffy material, easy to "install", easy to remove for washing, just a bit big for MY CPAP head gear. Bid the trick though, no CPAP headgear face in the morning!!

These are soft and more comfy than the thin ones that come with the machine but they are very thick and bulky.

Snuggle Skins Cheeks - CPAP Straps Covers - No More Strap Marks (Pink) This is a wonderful idea, but the thickness of the cover makes it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. I'm a side sleeper, and when I lay on my pillow all I can feel are the strap covers. My head is basically sleeping on the strap cover and not my pillow, they are very cumbersome. If that doesn't bother you, than this is a great product for you.
