    Protection
    When my child has a leak through their pull-up during the night there bedding is protected with this pad. I'm having to wash less bedding. This will also come in handy as we transition to no pull-ups during the night.

    First impressions
    Just received these today, far quicker than I expected. This is a first impression which I'll update after we try them out. I'm taking away a star because they seem awfully thin as I mention below. They appear to be of good quality. They're also much larger than the pads we currently use. They don't seem to be as thick as the ones we have so I'm a little concerned about their absorbency and protection. My mother-in-law is a paraplegic with severe urinary incontinence, even with a Foley, and in the 10+ years we've been caring for her, we've gone through quite a few pads. I'll admit, though, I'm truly surprised at the quality of these pads for the very low price. If you have purchased bed pads from a DME retailer, you already know how expensive they are. I really hope these work out. I'll post back in a few days after we have given these a try.

    Make me sleep too hot
    I appreciate that these pads are super thin while maintaining excellent absorbency and liquid protection. The cloth side is, indeed comfortably soft and they don’t crinkle. They’re also large, nearly covering the width of a full (double) mattress. What I don’t like and my ONLY reason for having to put these out to pasture is that they’re incredibly hot to sleep on. I woke in the middle of the night and felt like I’d wet the bed. But I didn’t, it was just the pads making my body parts that touched it very hot & sweaty. It’s a shame because otherwise they’re perfect. But it’s summer and I don’t need extra heat while I sleep.
