Question: Can I make this tea with filtered water instead of distilled?
Answer: Thank you for your question. For the best results, it is best to use distilled or purified water. For maximum potency, place the herbs into room temperature distilled or purified water in the evening, and let them soak and re-hydrate in this water overnight, before you simmer this brew the tea in the morning. This makes a more potent and effective Detox tea. We prefer You can make the Dr. Schulze's Detox Tea with distilled, filtered, even tap water. Question: Can this tea be fermented? Is it natural and organic free of any pesticides?

Question: How to brew detox tea?
Answer: The directions are on the package. Put 2 Tbs of herbs in 20 oz of distilled water. Let soak overnight. In the morning, bring to a boil & simmer for 15 min. Strain and drink. Don’t discard the herbs. For day 2, put the herbs back into the pot, add 1 Tbs of fresh herbs & 20 oz of distilled water. Let sit overnight & repeat the whole process. . Used herbs last up to 3 days. -
Question: My mfg date is 12.26.17 is this still good if opened and stored in cool dry place?
Answer: I just received another order of detox tea. The current mfg date is 12/19. Mine is dated 12/19/19. I have been using this product for years and they sell out very fast.I would double check that date.It should be 122619.If you have had this tea since 2017 it is still good because the herbs are dried so it should be just fine. -
Question: Instead of boiling on the stove can you microwave it?
Answer: Microwaving the tea kills the phytochemicals and nutrients within the tea. It must be boiled. We take great pains to ensure every one of our herbal ingredients comes to us with NO irradiation. Adding radiation from the microwave would be detrimental to the properties which make the tea so beneficial to begin with. -

Question: Can this tea steep longer than 24 hours? -- I usually follow the every day, once a day rule but I'm going on a trip and am going to miss a day..
Answer: I would call the number on the package for that type of question or Google for his website and contact info. Those types ofmteas can get moldy when you let the wet leaves sit. The tea is great and we have used it many times but we have followed directions. -
Question: How many days should this be taken to detox?
Answer: I guess it depends on how sick you are? A friend of mine was told he needed a liver transplant 15 years ago. He drank a cup of this tea morning and night along with the KB Kidney Bladder tea. His color came back in two months, but his blood tests kept getting better for a full year. After 6 months they were in the low range normal. After a year he had perfect blood work.
