THE BAG: The LXPB89 is a compact backpack featuring four main exterior compartments plus a quick access velcro compartment behind the lumbar panel. The front, sides and bottom feature modular (MOLLE) loops for attaching extra pouches or hanging gear. The back of the main compartment includes a zippered pouch designed to hold a hydration pouch, with ports on the top to access the drinking tube. The shoulder straps are completely adjustable from all points to accommodate different body types and also feature a chest strap, and webbing loops to hold a drinking tube. The rear of the bag is designed with padded mesh lumbar panels to make long periods of wear more comfortable on your back. Inside the main two compartments are smaller mesh panels that are perfect for organizing your gear and keeping items separated. Question: How much does the pack weigh? It only gives shipping weight of 12lbs. I am sure it is close to that, but curious if anyone has weighed the pack?
Answer: I haven’t weighed it on a scale. But I figure about ten pounds. It’s pretty light. Hardly known it was there while wearing it -
Question: Can this bag be configured to carry a d size oxygen cylinder
Answer: no. -
Question: is this bag come fully stocked everything nice neat and organised? or just thrown in there
Answer: the bag and kit are in separate containers....you may stock it in any way you desire. -
Question: Is there room to add more stuff as a search and rescue some more supplies may be needed such as rope?
Answer: You could prob stuff 30 meters of rope in addition to how you set the kit up, but not ideal at all. So, you can make it work, but I don't recommend this pack for that. You could attach some rope to the bag's exterior via molle loops. -
Question: can i get some photos of how you guys set up your bag?
Answer: We do not have any photos of the stocked bag as everyone has their own way of stocking. Sorry.
