Answer: We use these ramps to load my mobility chair into the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. We have no trouble using these for that purpose. We also use it to get the chair out of the house. The ramps are fairly light weight and easy to use. -

The rise of this ramp is no higher than 29.52". If the wheelchair with patient can go up easily, of course can go down the ramp, but only on steps. -
Question: how does This ramp look at the top of a stair for stability?
Answer: Under the top of the ramp there are non-slip pads that prevents the ramp from sliding when placed on the stairs. At the same time, we also equipped with bolt which can also fix the ramp, more secure and stable. -
Question: Will these ramps work with a Dodge, Grand Caravan?
Answer: These ramps are fantastic and really strong. I use them to wheel a person in a wheelchair up three stairs and they work great. There's a small flat edge to rest on the top but no spacer to keep them an even distance apart and there is a possibility of slipping. With a Grand Caravan, I'd say, use with caution.
