These Mantello Pipe Cleaners are great for cleaning smoking pipes as well as plenty of other applications. The HARD BRISTLES can be used on metal, ceramic vapes, PAX etc. We have soft bristles available for purchase as well. You will receive 4 Bundles of 44 Pipe Cleaners giving you 176 Total. Each pipe cleaner measures approximately 6 inches long, making cleaning even easier. A pipe cleaner is a type of brush originally intended for removing moisture and residue from smoking pipes. Besides cleaning pipes, they can be used for any application that calls for cleaning out small bores or tight places. They are popular for winding around bottlenecks to catch drips, bundling things together, and applying paints, oils, solvents, greases, and similar substances. They can also be used as a twist tie as a convenient way to tie something. Pipe cleaners are made of two lengths of wire, called the core, twisted together trapping short lengths of fiber between them, called the pile. Question: May I use this on glass, or should I use a softer pipe cleaner?
Answer: I was able to use the pipe cleaners on glass and they didn't scratch but won't use them on plastic. Find an inconspicuous spot and try it out first, just to be on the safe side. -

Answer: Good question. I don’t recycle these only because they are full of some real funky junk after use. I can say however that with their bristles they are great cleaners, if that helps. Get some and get cleaning!!!! -

Answer: The pipe cleaners are strong, but you can bend them easy enough to clean at different angles. -

Answer: No. These are single use cleaners by design. -
Question: are they sturdy enough to keep their shape if i use them in the nose area of a face mask?
Answer: I would NOT use these for the nose area of a face mask. There are small sharp little bristles in the piping (to actually clean pipes I would assume). -
Question: How thick are these about same as common craft pipe cleaer?
Answer: They're much smaller than the common craft pipe cleaner probably about half a cm thick. -
