Answer: Don't use the craft "pipe cleaners" for pipe cleaning. They are typically too thin and non absorbent. Use a pipe cleaner made for pipe cleaning. These are made for pipe cleaning -

Answer: They work for my tobacco pipe. Wire is pretty strong. It will bend if pushed to hard but the price? I'm happy -

Answer: These bend fairly easily. I can’t tell you for sure what kind of metal it is but it is very soft. -
