Product Description
Overview |
The Patient Aid PA-200 Sit to Stand Buttock Strap Product Dimensions: 7.5” H x 34.5" L Weight Capacity: 400lbs The Patient Aid PA-200 Sit to Stand Buttock Strap is to be used in conjunction with a sit to stand torso sling. The Sit to Stand Buttock Strap is not to be used by itself. The 400lb weight capacity allows the buttock strap to meet a wide variety of different size patients. Sit to stand buttock straps only have 2 connection points and do not work with floor style lifts that have spreader bars that attach the slings above the patient. The buttock strap is only used when transferring a resident from a seated position and only works with sit to stand patient lifts. The buttock strap is perfect for those days the patient needs some extra help and security when using their sit to stand lift. The buttock strap works by going under the patients bottom and allow the patient to sit in the buttock strap like a swing and relieve some of the extra weight on their legs. The sit to stand buttock strap is made with a solid polyester padded fabric which protects those patients with sensitive skin while also preventing the patient from sliding out of the sling. The sit to stand buttock strap has two reinforced attachment points to allow the sling to work with all competitive sit to stand style patient lifts. This Sit to Stand Sling Fits Hoyer(R), Invacare(R), Drive(R), Medline(R), Lumex(R) and most other stand assist patient lift brands. We also sell a bariatric version of this product, the PA-250, that has a 600 lb weight capacity. The Amazon ASIN is B07FP4RBH4. 1-year limited warranty. |
Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question: How do you get the buttock strap under the patient? And if you manage to get it under them & lift them, how do you get their pants down for toileting?
Answer: I had the same issue! We added padding to it and ran it around her back and under her armpits. -
Question: falling to floor in sitting position lift up to standing without using knees to kneel on before trying to stand?
Answer: This is not for pickup up from the floor. You would need a Hoya lift for that. This lift is good for aiding in moving from a sitting position to another place to sit. -
Question: Can you use this after the patient has been lifted to a standing position with a sling
Answer: Yes. I place it under him then loser him to loop onto the lift -
Question: Can this be used under the upper legs to lift to change briefs?
Answer: I think it could help a lot. We use mine to help pull me up into a sitting position in bed to get into the lift. And it's great for the original purpose of helping me ease my arms while we use the lift. -
Question: what is the total length, including the straps?
Answer: With the straps, the total length is 52.5 "L. -
Question: Will this belt work with the ste400?
Answer: Yes, it should! We've had several customers who used it with the STE400 and have left a good review of their experience. -
Question: Will this work with a Sara plus sit to stand lift?
Answer: The Patient Aid Sit to Stand Lift Buttock Strap has two reinforced hookup points that work with any competitive sit-to-stand style patient lifts. We highly suggest reaching out to the said brand as well to ensure compatibility.
