Question: How long does it stay cold?
Answer: It stays cold for quite some time.... much longer than you would need to leave it on you. -
Question: Do you leave the cover off when you freeze it?
Answer: Yes I leave the cover off. I actually put it back in the plastic bag it came in to keep it clean and not smell. -
Question: Does it have to be stored in the freezer? What if you aren't going to need it for a while like a month or two. Would it adversely affect the pack?
Answer: You can store it in its own package while not in use, just freeze it fully before use. It works great. The best thing I had for my Hip Replacement. -
Question: Has anyone else measured the product they received? The one that I just received is actually 11 1/2" not 12", and it is 20" long not 21" as advertised
Answer: I just measured mine and it’s 20.5 inches long by 11.5 inches wide. The company must be rounding up the actual numbers is all I can think of. -
Question: how tough is the skin of the ice pack? how thick is it? can you contact me and we can talk about modifications for a very specific use
Answer: The blue slip cover is felt like & thin in nature. This way it is just thick enough to protect the skin from the cold while in use. -
Question: How long does it stay cold after taken out of freezer? I need it for my Dogs crate, as he is flying overseas and I don't want him to overheat.
Answer: Thank you for the question. Our 12x21 Reusable Oversize Cold Clay Pack stays cold up to 1 hour, but we recommend to freeze it for at least 4 hours before using. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. -
Question: Why does your product description says for hot & cold compress pain relief if you are not supposed to warm it up??

Question: How quickly does this ice pack re-feeze?
Answer: It never truly freezes because it's more like a gel-pack. It only takes about 1/2 hour or so to get "stiff" enough to use. It would be good for on again off again pain relief. It stays cold about as long as it takes to get cold. -
Question: can this be folded and placed in the freezer?
Answer: I folded mine in thirds, in the freezer right now. -
Question: I have one not even a year old and it dried up? Don’t understand why? Have two others no problem
Answer: This clay pack should be stored in a resealable plastic bag and in the refrigerator or freezer when not in use. When left out at room temperature, the clay inside the packs will dry up and the pack will become stiff and not pliable. There is no way to recover the pack once it has dried up.
